Is It A Sign?

sign (1 of 1)

I was headed to the basement last Friday when I noticed this sign on the side of my neighbor’s house.  The day was bright and sunny so my first thought was that it be a signal of an early spring.  Whereas the groundhog does not make an annual appearance in Oregon, we are  left to interrupt the winter/spring transition ourselves.

The past several days have dashed my hopes for an early spring; we have experienced two wind storms, rain, hail, sleet, and snow.  So what could this sign mean?

The green does it. It's definitely a sign of spring. But, I think there's something in there that looks a little like, "Don't hold your breath." :) I love the textures in this one.

Thanks Anita! I agree about don't hold your breath; just came in and it's been snowing again!

I'm thinking it's an alien abduction sign. Watch out for the pod people next door!

A wonderful abstract!

Thanks Earl! That that thought crossed my mind.

I'm with Earl. The aliens are coming for you.

Ralph, both you and Earl are likely right!

It means you are at the crossroads of winter to spring. We can only hope. I'd send some of my 50's to 70's weather your way, but I am enjoying them too much. Of course they are using the 4 letter S word for next week...

Stay safe.
