July 4th At The Coast

IMG_7097

It was a gray, low contrast sort of day on the Oregon coast just south of Cannon Beach this morning.  At the time that the photo was taken, the winds were calm and the temperature was not quite sixty degrees.  It may be a bit cool, but it sure beats the heat of the southwest or the humidity of the east coast!  Have a great July 4th.

No kidding, Steve. The constant and humidity, here in Charlotte, has been a bit uncomfortable; however, we are green, green, green, and the mosquitoes are loving it! I cannot say that I appreciate the mosquitoes, though. Nope. Not at all.

Last night, they still had fireworks, but I didn't got out. It was raining buckets at the time, similar to what it is doing right now. Oh well. There will be no watering restrictions this summer, I'm thinking. :D

Paul, it's always good to have water in the well come the end of summer!

Wait a minute, what's wrong with 110 and 2% humidity?

This whole week out humidity level has been between 90 and 99% but only in the 80's temperature wise. Any type of activity outside means you have to find some dry clothes when you come back in. :-)

Cannon Beach is a really nice place...nice capture here. I like the slight haze.
